Webinar on
Automated Process Control and
Real Time Release for a Pharmaceutical Continuous Manufacturing Line
30/05/24 at 2pm (UK time)
The manufacturing of pharmaceutical tablets has
shifted in the last years from a batch process to a continuous process. Johnson
& Johnson has the aim to develop and commercially manufacture the majority
of our new small molecule drug products according to the continuous process. A
continuous process also requires a continuous verification and control.
In this webinar, the approach for such an
automated process control and real-time release is discussed for a direct
compression continuous manufacturing process. Next to the discussion of the
applied process control strategy for commercial manufacturing, also examples
are given to show the added value of the process analytical tools in the
development of a new product on the continuous manufacturing line. Furthermore,
alternative process control strategies will be discussed.
This webinar will be presented by Tom Van den Kerkhof, Johnson & Johnson.
The webinar
will last no longer than one hour.
