Following a
well-attended initial webinar, the steering committee of the Model-based
Process Monitoring, Control and Optimisation Focus Group would like to invite
you to participate in a follow-up virtual meeting on 7th May at 2pm
(UK time) to get input from the community of practitioners to help us shape the
activities for this group.
We aim for
this to be a 2h session with presentations from the community followed by a
general discussion where we will use the survey results as a starting point to
gather everyone’s feedback to help us identify the most relevant activities for
the membership. As part of this, we will discuss opportunities to foster
collaboration across the group through activities such as feasibility studies.
We would like to have 3 short presentations from the community (each 15 mins
plus questions). If you would like to contribute to this session by presenting
some of your work to the group, we welcome you to submit a title (please
contact Christine.stevenson@strath.ac.uk).
Relevant topics include: Process understanding, Multivariate Statistical
Process Control, Predictive modelling, Soft sensors, Hybrid modelling, Advanced
Process Control, Batch process modelling and optimization.
If there are specific activities you think would be of value you are also
welcome to share your suggestions by email.
There is also a dedicated Teams
channel set up for communication for this group, if you wish to be added please
contact Christine.
To register
for the event on the 7th May please contact Christine.stevenson@strath.ac.uk
We are
looking forward to get together for the first time as an expanded group.
