We are delighted to welcome Geir Rune as our newest Associate Member.
Dr Geir Rune Flåten is an independent consultant, coach and
solution provider focused on data and value creation.
Career started in
CPACT as a PostDoc researcher in chemometrics supporting member organizations
and colleagues in making sense of their data through analytics and method
development. Continued in GSK where he built and lead the chemometrics team supporting
QbD implementation and other data analytics initiatives. Joined Camo Analytics after
leaving GSK, and was involved in solution development, implementation and
training for customers using the Unscrambler family of products. Promoted to
CTO and responsible for development and delivery of the modelling and PAT
platform Process Pulse. Part of the management team during the acquisition of
privately owned Camo Analytics by NASDAQ listed AspenTech. Built and led the
Pharma Solution Consulting team supporting the full range of industrial
software offered from AspenTech, including simulator and first-principle
modelling tools, data infrastructure tools, predictive maintenance tools, and data
analytics tools.
Flåten has long
experience with pharma and has also supported the other industrial sectors
served by CPACT, Camo and AspenTech. Kept the link with academia active through
collaboration with CPACT, DigiFood and other partners.
Flåten is looking
forward to engaging and collaborating with CPACT academics, students and
members.
